Simon Comina, CEO
Initially lawyer in a prominent Swiss law firm, Simon joined Schroders Private Banking (Switzerland) in 2005 and was eventually heading the MENA region Department as well as the Private Equity Department up until end 2014. He was responsible for the deal sourcing, structuring, capital raising and monitoring of the direct private equity investments made by the bank. Simon was an active advisor in the creation and the listing of Rex International Holding Ltd. Simon is also a founding member of Trace Atlantic Oil Ltd.

Erik Herlyn, VP of Finance & BA
Erik has extensive experience in the finance and hydrocarbon industries. Erik was CEO of Manas Petroleum Corp, founder and CEO of Petromanas Energy Inc.. Prior to that he was holding several managerial positions in large International Business Consulting firms such as KPMG, BearingPoint and Capgemini. In these position he was supporting major Oil & Gas companies in the Americas and Arabic countries with regard to strategic, technical and financial projects. Erik is a mechanical and production engineer (Trinity University Dublin, University of Bremen).

Ivar Aarseth, VP of Operations
Ivar has more than 40 years of  technical, operational and managerial experience in the Oil & Gas industry with independent or multi- national energy companies and governmental bodies, such as DNO, Conoco Norway, Total E&P Norway, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate and the Norwegian Agency for International Development, mostly working in  Norway, UK and Africa. Early 2012, Ivar became the General Manager of Lime Petroleum (Norway). Ivar graduated in 1970 with a Master in Engineering Geology from the Technical University of Trondheim, Norway.

Dr. Rabi Bastia, VP of Exploration
Dr. Bastia started his impressive career in exploration a geoscientist with the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation in India in 1980 and worked in different capacities and at various locations and rose to the rank of Senior Executive.  In 1996, he started the E&P business in Reliance Industries Limited, a member of the Reliance Group, India’s largest private sector enterprise.  Up until May 2012, he was the Head of the Exploration Management Team for Reliance Industries Limited responsible for the supervision of the company’s E&P activities. Since July 2012, he is the VP of exploration of Lime Petroleum plc.  Among others, Dr. Bastia obtained his PhD in Petroleum/Structural Geology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in association with the Royal Geological Society United Kingdom in 1986.

Serigne Mboup, NW Africa Area Manager
Serigne has more than 25 years  of experience in business and project management both in Europe and Africa, in IT, agro-business and mostly in the Oil & Gas sector for the last 17 years. Among others, Serigne held several posts at Senegal National Oil Corporation – Petrosen , such as IT Director, Procurement and Organization Director, Internal Audit Director and finally Managing Director for a period of 7 years. Serigne has integrated a strong network of political and business partners among the African Leaders Community and operates since 2008 also as International Consultant.

Hans Lidgren, Chief Technology Advisor
Hans started his career in 1975 as a director for the Civil Engineering program at Lund Institute of Technology. In 1983, Hans founded and led as CEO Scandinavian Advanced Information Systems, SCAIS AB. This company was successful in pioneering the prospecting of Oil & Gas using satellite information technology. In 1988, following the sale of SCAIS AB, Hans founded and ran as CEO Scandimed AB, a company successfully producing medical devices. In 1992, Hans also acted as Chairman of Rotationsplast AB, producing marine products for the coastguards of the Scandinavian countries. Up to 2000, Hans was among others active as board member of Förvaltnings AB Maple, Chaitness Fastighets AB, Propatria AB. Since 2006, Hans is CEO and Head of technology of Rex technology Management Ltd, a company developing proprietary innovative Oil and Gas exploration technologies.

Daniel Udry, General Counsel
In 2002 and 2003, he acquired a specialization in the field of international corporate and commercial law at the London School of Economics. He then joined one of the Swiss largest law firms, where he developed skills and expertise in various business law areas, including private equity and the energy sector from 2003 to 2008. He is one of the founders and partners of the law firm 100 Rue du Rhône Avocats, which was launched in 2009 in Geneva. He is advising medium size companies as well as multinational groups in international transactions. Mr. Udry is also on the Board of several Swiss companies active in different industries.Daniel is a qualified attorney-at-law since 2000.

Svein Kjellesvik, Senior Seismic Acquisition Advisor
Svein has a 28 year career in leading positions in Schlumberger. He played a key role in building the seismic company Geco from the mid 70ties until Geco was sold to Schlumberger in 1986. Staying with Schlumberger, he became President of their Marine Seismic Division. Svein made significant contributions to the seismic industry in the field marine 3D, ocean bottom multi component seismic and innovative business models for non exclusive seismic. Svein retired from Schlumberger in 2002. Since then he has worked as a private entrepeneur being involved in start ups within the E&P industry.  Svein graduated in 1973 with a Masters Degree in Applied Physics from the Technical University of Trondheim (NTH).

Thomas Tygesen, Senior Geophysicist Advisor
Thomas has more than 35 of years of experience as geoscientist and manager in upstream oil companies including business development, exploration, field development and production mainly in Europe and Africa. Among others, he worked for Maersk Oil as geophysicist in interpretation and processing. He also worked for Texaco UK Ltd doing seismic interpretation and reservoir characterization. In the past ten years, Thomas mainly supported the development of small E&P companies with focus on Norway and Africa.
