Karl Lidgren, Chairman
At the age of 32, Karl obtained his professor chair in the subject “The Economics of Innovations” at Lund University. In 1994, he started “The International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics” with the support of the Swedish Government for which he remained the Chairman until 2000. Since then, Karl has been working together with different Universities, Companies and Governments in the field of sustainable development. He has been involved, as founder and chairman, in the start-up of numerous successful companies in different sectors, such as IT (Disc Navigation AB) industry (Enterprise AB), human prosthesis (Scandimed AB and Bone Support AB) and also Oil & Gas (Petroscan AB). Presently, Karl is the founder chairman of Rex Oil & Gas Ltd, a company developing proprietary innovative Oil & Gas exploration technologies. Karl is the founder and chairman of Rex technology management Ltd. and executive director of Rex International Holding Ltd.

In 2002 and 2003, he acquired a specialization in the field of international corporate and commercial law at the London School of Economics. He then joined one of the Swiss largest law firms, where he developed skills and expertise in various business law areas, including private equity and the energy sector from 2003 to 2008. He is one of the founders and partners of the law firm 100 Rue du Rhône Avocats, which was launched in 2009 in Geneva. He is advising medium size companies as well as multinational groups in international transactions. Mr. Udry is also on the Board of several Swiss companies active in different industries. Daniel is a qualified attorney-at-law since 2000.
Jeff has over 35 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, while his working career commenced in the UK, he has spent an extensive amount of his career time in Australia, SE Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and both East and West Africa. With a background in Mechanical Engineering he commenced his career with British Gas and worked in numerous positions with Chevron before joining Woodside as the Commercial Manager in Mauritania, where he established their Country Operations. He proceeded to Join Ophir Energy in 2005 in its establishment phase as General Manager Operations where he was responsible for their successful in country operations in Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Tanzania. He ended his career in Ophir in 2015 in the position of Senior Vice President. Jeff was a part of the Senior Management team that built the company from its very early days and took it the most successful IPO in O&G history in 2011.
Serigne has more than 25 years of experience in business and project management both in Europe and Africa, in IT, agro-business and mostly in the Oil & Gas sector for the last 17 years. Among others, Serigne held several posts at Senegal National Oil Corporation – Petrosen , such as IT Director, Procurement and Organization Director, Internal Audit Director and finally Managing Director for a period of 7 years. Serigne has integrated a strong network of political and business partners among the African Leaders Community and operates since 2008 also as International Consultant.
Chukwuemeka Okwuosa, Non-Executive Director
Chukwuemeka has more than 30 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry. After 10 years with Schlumberger in different managing positions based in Western Africa, Chukwuemeka founded and still manages since the mid 90’s two successful companies active in the downstream Oil & Gas sector in Western Africa: Oilserv Limited, Nigeria, which is an Oil & Gas engineering and construction service company, specialized in oil pipelines and facilities and Frazimex, Nigeria, which is active in gas facilities and pipeline engineering, consulting commissioning and maintenance. Both companies are acting for the majors in the region. Frazimex has joint ventures with Transocean Sedco Forex, Cooper Cameroun Inc and Wellstream Limited.
